Imperial Glass Dolphin Koi 10 1/4” Candlestick Pair Magnificent Quite Rare!!!!!. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. In exquisite condition with no chips, cracks, scratches, or cloudiness. Standing a stunning 10 1/4” tall, the candlesticks date from the mid 1930’s when Imperial reissued the candlesticks in their Rose Marie pink and Springtine Green colors based on the old Boston Sandwich Glass pieces from the 1840’s. The pink and green were only in two catalogs in 1935 and 1936. Much later in the 1970’s, Imperial made these candlesticks for the Museum of Modern Art which are marked on the bottom with MMA in blue, clear, and a Vaseline yellow green. The 1930’s version are quite scarce and these are the only original ones I’ve seen. Not marked with IG which also tells us they are pre 1950 as that’s the year Imperial started marking their pieces. Downsizing a forty year collection. You won’t be disappointed!!!!!
